I've been recently notified that my jobs (one full time, the other part time) both are not renewing my contracts with them. While I was planning to collect unemployment while searching for a new full time job, a friend introduced me to a company outsourcing work/freelance contracting for people just to let me make some extra income if necessary. It is purely supplementary income and not consistent work or really something you can live off.
Am I able to still collect unemployment from Hello Work if its only a small about? I thought getting that money is not much different from selling something off merikari so it wouldn't matter if I took a few gigs from them but does that disqualify me from any unemployment benefits?
Edit: I am not registered as a freelancer. If money is less than a certain amount do I tell hello work?
