Hello everyone! I moved to Japan 5 months ago and I want to open an Etsy shop to sell handmade goods. I've been wanting to do this for years. I am an American that is married to a Japanese national. So, I have a Spouse of Japanese National visa. I know that people with Spouse visas have no restrictions, but I just want to make sure I am doing everything 100%.
What I want to know is if I start an Etsy, what do I need to do exactly? I know about reporting taxes but what about immigration? Do I need permission from Immigration to start an Etsy, or I don't have to because of my Visa status? I tried searching online but there's not many sources with my situation. Mostly for people with visa's from their jobs.
Anyone here have an Etsy shop that has a Spouse of Japanese National visa? If you do, what is everything you needed to do beforehand before you can start? Thanks!
Edit: I also want to add that I have a full time job as well. This is something I want to do on the side.
