My girlfriend is really likely to get an internship in Tokyo for around 5 months next year. I want to go with her since we really don't want to be seperated for 5 months. So my question is how can I get a visa for longer than 5 months? I am open for all options. Some noteable information. I have no degree or work experiece that would help me find a job in Japan.

can you do a working holiday visa ? it’s for one year, epends where you’re from though
You need to let people know your citizenship, otherwise it’s all a crapshoot what rules apply. If American you can go visa free for up to 90 days, and there are ways to extend another 90 days though it’s not a guarantee.
