I'm a US citizen living in Tokyo. I'm trying to apply for student loan forgiveness on the basis of medical disability (TPD). The form states that the form needs to be filled out by a medical practitioner licensed in the US.
I had my Japanese doctor fill it out for me in English just to try, and I was initially approved for loan forgiveness but then rejected because my doctor isn't US based.
Anyone know if there are any places/professionals that can help with this in Tokyo? TIA!
