hi, I'm going to start my second year, master's in IT this September.( I live in Kansai) I know that the internship/job hunting period in japan is usually during February~April but for most international students that start their year in Fall, what timeline should they target for job hunt?
Apart from sites that are tokyodev and japandev and linkedin, where more can I look into for internships/job hunt in September since I feel looking for a job in April would be too late as it'd be my last semester.
Also, the field i want to work is in network security/cybersecurity/ network forensics.
1) How eager are companies in japan hiring for these fields?
2) so far I have N4 japanese level and I'm aware that will hinder my chances but any advice is appreciated since I heard they don't usually care for language in IT companies, especially when it's not client side jobs.
3) Any tips on how an IT job selection round is different in japan from your country? Any tips that would help me?
Edit: Will the upcoming world expo 2025 see rise in the IT hiring scene?
p.s. for those who will say to better go back to my country and work: i can't because of the competition and poor pay of the third world country i am born in.
