I would like to hit up as many nature spots and temples as possible. I've read a car is recommended. Getting an Intl driver's license seems relatively easy.
Is renting a car worth it for an area like Nikko? was also thinking of heading to Nagano afterwards. I've never driven on the right side, but I figure I'll just drive conservatively and will be fine, right?
