Hi everyone! So we are flying Air Canada near the end of September to Osaka and of course there’s a possibility they might go on strike. We may have to shorten our trip now (because one of our flight tickets we used Avion Points and they don’t allow us to change the date of the return flight). 13 nights going from Osaka-Kyoto-Tokyo (Narita airport back). Traveling with my Husband, 2YO, my mother and I will be 22 weeks pregnant. Is this itinerary even possible?? 4N Osaka – 3N Kyoto – 1N Disney MiraCosta – 1N Disney Toy Story – 4N Tokyo
I was thinking of basing 7N in Osaka and 2 day trips to Kyoto, but that might be too much with a toddler.. we’re staying in Dotonbori and just going to the Bamboo forest will take almost 2 hours there..
We will use Luggage Forwarding Service when moving to each city.
Day 1 OSAKA
– arrive at Kansai Airport at 5pm
– About 1h20min train to hotel in Dotonbori
– Dinner dotonbori area (about 8/9pm arrive)
Day 2 OSAKA
– Kids plaza 9-5pm
– Lunch at Okonomiyaki Kiji (1 min to observatory)
– Kuchu Teien Observatory/Umeda Sky Building)

Day 3 OSAKA
– Namba Yasaka Jinjya Shrine
– Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan

Day 4 OSAKA

Day 5 OSAKA – KYOTO
– AONIYOSHI train to KYOTO 9:10 arrive 10:35am (book in august one month prior)
– Gion
– Pontocho
Day 6 KYOTO
– Arashiyama bamboo forest 8:30 am arrival??
– Itsukichaya (restaurant close to bamboo forest)
– Rest at hotel
Day 7 KYOTO
– Fushimi Shrine
– Relax
– Nishiki market
– Daimaru closes at 10pm or Takashimaya closes at 8
Day 8 KYOTO – TOKYO DISNEYLAND OCT 2
– Check out from Hotel 11:00am
– take Shinkansen bullet train to DISNEYLAND MIRACOSTA Hotel(3h45min)
– maybe stop at Tokyo station for ramen street
– Check in to Hotel by 3pm
– Evening pass for Disneyland
Day 9 TOKYO DISNEYSEA
– DisneySea full day happy entry early morning
– Check into Toy Story Hotel (was not able to book 2 nights at MiraCosta)
Day 10 DISNEY – TOKYO Asakusa
– Check out from Toy Story Disney hotel by 12:00pm
– Train to Hotel in ASAKUSA
– Sensoji
– Suitengu Shrine
– Akihabara (manga electronic gaming district)
Day 11 TOKYO Asakusa
– Water bus from Asakusa to Odaiba
– Legoland (4 mins walk from pier)
– Giant gundam (14 min walk from legoland)
– Team Labs planets in the evening (close at 10pm 18 min bus from legoland)
Day 12 TOKYO Asakusa
– Tsukiji market
– Ginza
– Harajuku
– Roppongi – Sakurazaka Park (playground)
Day 13 TOKYO Asakusa
– Shibuya
– Shibuya sky
– Shibuya crossing
– Omoide Yokocho (piss alley) shinjuku can skip
– Shinjuku Chuo Park playground
Day 14 TOKYO ASAKUSA – HOME
– Leave hotel at 11:30am direct train to Narita (1h30min) 4pm flight Narita
