Welcome Suica for trip beyond 30 days? Benefit of digital vs physical?

As the Welcome Suica is only good for thirty days and my trip is forty, I assume it’s not worth getting? Also, is there any benefit to having the physical card over the digital one or vice versa? Thanks!
