Hey everyone! I’m visiting Japan for the first time (such a beautiful and welcoming country, by the way).
Tomorrow, I’m planning to visit Mount Fuji (specifically Chureito Pagoda, Lake Tanuki, Lake Kawaguchi… The 5 Lakes), and I’m thinking about renting a car just for this trip.
I’m staying near Yumoto Station in Hakone, and I’ve heard that the train ride on the Odakyu line could take up to 4 hours, so we’re trying to make the most of our day and save time.
I’d love to know if this sounds like a good idea and if there are parking options around those areas (even if we have to pay for it). Any tips would be super helpful!
By the way, it’s just me and my husband traveling.
