For the past 3 weeks, my fever has fluctuated between 37-39°C. My throat hurts a lot when I swallow, and in the mornings, it's almost unbearable. The lymph nodes on the front, sides, and back of my neck are swollen. My head hurts when I cough. The cough is usually dry, but sometimes there's phlegm. I don't have any nasal discharge or sneezing. Sometimes, I also experience ear pain when I swallow. I've visited the doctor twice. The first time, I was diagnosed with a viral infection and prescribed medication. The second time, they thought it was a bacterial infection and prescribed amoxicillin (plus 4 other medications), but that hasn't had any effect either.
