Hi everyone!

I'm going to Japan on a solo trip in November this year and it's my very first time visiting (I'm stoked!!). I saw a few itineraries in this thread which were super helpful but thought I'd share my own – I'd appreciate any and all comments/suggestions!

  • Travel to Osaka (aim to leave by 17:00 at the latest)
  • Check into hotel near Dotonbori

Day 9:

  • ?Universal Studios (not 100% sold on the idea but I'll keep it as an option)
  • Den-Den town
  • Shinsekai

Day 10:

  • Nara day trip
  • ?Umeda Sky Building

Day 11:

  • Ship luggage to Tokyo
  • Travel to Hakone
  • Check into ryokan
  • Have a kaiseki dinner if it’s not too late

Day 12:

  • Owakudani and then take the Komagatake ropeway down to Lake Ashinoko
  • Hakone shrine

Day 13:

  • Return to TokyoCheck into hotel where luggage was shipped (near HND)
  • Character street
  • Ginza

Day 14:

  • Last min shopping before flight back

I know both the Pokemon cafe and Ghibli museum require prior booking and plan to do so, but is there anything else I need to pre-book on that list?

Much appreciated!
