Not the first time posting on this subreddit, will be visiting Japan for the first time later this month. I’m insanely excited!!
The last part of our itenary looks something like this: Nagoya -> somewhere near Fuji -> Tokyo. A friend of mine advised to go to Fujikawaguchiko, but it seems a hassle to travel to from Nagoya. You need to go to Tokyo first…
Does anyone have other places around Fuji where you can enjoy the mountain and area, that’s an easier travel from Nagoya?

PS bursting from excitement! It has been my dream since I was 6 years old. I remember giving presentations about Japan in Dutch pre-school.
