Hello! Long-time lurker and now I have a question that I can't seem to get a straightforward answer to (asked multiple scriveners that help apply for BMV in Japan).
My question is in the long title above – basically I want to "improve" my chances of coming to Japan by going two routes: Apply to jobs and go to interviews AND simultaneously apply for a Business Manager Visa (my discussions with scriveners seems like it's a solid enough plan and investment is no problem).
Since the BMV process can take a long time (4-8 months?), can I start that process with a judicial scrivener, and keep networking to apply for jobs? I ask this because if I pass the interviews and get offered a Working Visa, I've heard you can only have one visa application in process at any given time.
So in this specific situation, can I reach out to Immigration and have them "cancel" the BMV application so the hiring company can move forward with a Working Visa application for me (and my dependents)?
Or do I have to pick a path and see it through to completion (BMV only or Working Visa only)?
Thanks in advance – I'll be happy to clear up anything if my question wasn't clear enough!
