Hi all, I decided to get some opinions on this topic.
As the title says I'm from Mexico and honest to god I would love to leave this place for good (I have several reasons to easily say that I hate life here but I won't dwell into them). And I always had a big interest in Japan, so much that I'm already getting an N2 degree for the language.
A bit of backstory with Japan is that I've lived 6 months there in Tokyo for a college exchange program, and I reaaaally liked life there. But now that I can actually start my life I don't fully know if I should move there, of course I would move under a work visa and through a job in a Japan based company, trying to avoid the black companies of course. I studied computer science with a focus in AI but I'm more inclined to ask if it's worth leaving my country.
Mexico is in quite a dire state right now and I don't feel safe living here, I also wanted to form a family but this place is not quite fit for it. But now the question is, is Japan really better for this? I mean I understand that the work culture is different, but here I just get overworked with no pay and have 7 days of paid vacations a year, also there's the aspect of having a family, I've heard a lot of bad stories about divorces and losing your own child because you're the gaijin.
In the end I don't know if I should move to Japan, the 6 months I lived there were pretty comfortable but at the end of the day I was only studying , I don't really know how "real" life would actually be.
I would appreciate any tips from someone that was in a similar situation.
