Applying for PERMISSION TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITY OTHER THAN THAT PERMITTED UNDER THE STATUS OF RESIDENCE PREVIOUSLY GRANTED as a dependent.

Hello!

I'm moving to Japan at the end of the month as a dependent on my husband's visa. What is the quickest way I can get "PERMISSION TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITY OTHER THAN THAT PERMITTED UNDER THE STATUS OF RESIDENCE PREVIOUSLY GRANTED" so that I can start looking for part-time work? I know that students can sometimes apply for this at the airport on arrival (depending on the airport). Would I be able to do the same (I'll be flying to Haneda)?

Also the form mentions specifying the work you intend to do, but I'm not sure yet and I'll need the permissions to apply for jobs… so before I even know what Id be doing.
