ryogoku, ueno, or shibuya? for first time travelers

Hi, I am planning to go with my family to Tokyo Japan this coming November. We are a total of 7 (with 2 elderly and 1 infant), and I was wondering if it’s okay to stay in Ryogoku? We found an affordable apartment-like in Airbnb and it’s located in Ryogoku, but it’s near the train station (about 5-10 min walk).

The accommodation difference is HUGE. So I was wondering if it’s worth spending much more money to stay in Ueno/Shibuya knowing that we will not be able to get a night life (bars/clubs/etc) since we are with 2 elderly and 1 infant.
