We have a 4 and a half y/o Mazda that was bought brand new with all the maintenance package and stuff. So we’ve been taking it to the dealer for the regular inspections and minor consumables like oil and oil filter and it also covered the first shaken. So the maintenance package is already over and the car needs already some other parts like the aircon fan is making weird noises and also changing the brake pads. The prices at the dealer are insane so I was googling different options and couldn’t find ANYTHING apart from the local dealers. Is it prohibited by law to have a garage and a mechanic working with local brands? I honestly don’t want to pay 5万円 just for the fan. We’re located in Yokohama. TIA for any advice.
