Japan is over reacting and sadly has become completely neurotic about this.
It has got to a point where it is clearly having an impact on the mental health and development of children.
It is long due that the government treat it similar to the flu, ditch the masks, and schools just take sensible measures (similar to what we have always done for the flu) if and when cases emerge.
