Do I need to replace my Internet switching hub for J:COM?

My apartment building is changing ISP to J:COM, regrettably.

J:COM will visit each apartment to "explain" their services and replace everyone's 100MB switching hubs with 1GB ones.

I have already switched my hub to a 1GB one, and have had speeds of around 800MB with the previous ISP. The one I currently use is this https://www.elecom.co.jp/products/EHC-G08PA2-JW.html.

Do I need to replace this with their 1GB switching hub? Is there any specification it might lack for their service? I doubt it…

*I think I have to let them in the apartment anyway, as I need to register with them for an ID and password to log into my J:COM account and mail. I just want to know in advance if I have to let them mess around with the switching hub.
