Ok, so this might be a long shot, but I am looking for a support group for those who have survived abuse while living in Japan. It has been years since the abuse, and I am physically far from it, but mentally I feel so alone.
I am back in my home country and just want to find people to connect with and support one another as we heal together as survivors. I have been back for years and no therapy here has given me the support I'm needing. Don't get me wrong though, therapy is helpful for me but healing is multifaceted and there is no one way or method to help with the healing process completely.
I didn't think I would write this but here's hoping someone like me might read this and reach out on a limb over reddit.
Being a survivor isn't easy. And I don't want to do it alone anymore. If you know of any support groups or just want to reach out to me, both are welcomed. 🙏
