So I moved into a new apartment fairly recently and got a noise complaint for laughing loudly during the day. Is this really a valid complaint, and can I get in trouble for it? I can understand if I was playing loud music or something, but this feels kind of ridiculous. I chat and game online with my friends a few times per week, but I thought it'd be fine as long as it's not at night. I'm not sure how to respond to my housing manager about this.
