Hi everyone, incoming Tokyo boe jet here. Just wondering what is roughly the term time in Tokyo and do we get to take days off other than the school holidays? There is a wedding and another event that’s quite important to me back in the uk. If it’s just one of them I’d give up on going because the plane ticket is not worth it, but they happen to be in the same week in early October, so I thought I might give it a shot. I don’t know my school yet so I can’t check their term dates, but I presume school has started already. Is it possible to take a week off early on in the year like this? I know legally it is probably alright but I was wondering culture wise does it leave a bad impression to do that when the school year just started. Please let me know what you think from ur experience as a jet, thanks a lot!
