  1. Bout fucken time.

The Burger King in my small ass city has had a fabulously colored transgender staff working the register for quite a while now.

  2. This is actually pretty big IMO. Once one giant foreign-but-incredibly-Japanified company starts relaxing rules, it could help persuade others.

  3. It’s a start and nice for long-term workers I guess. Won’t mean much for students working part-time who are still banned from having anything but black hair at school, or university students who will be applying to jobs, etc.

My kid has had his natural hair colour questioned by teachers at school, so I find the whole thing pretty fucking stupid.

  4. This might make some people upset, but I think natural is the most beautiful. I don’t like affectation. I’m not a fan of hair dyeing or tattoos or anything else really.

  5. “It doesn’t matter, the result will be the same, the same bland burger as always…”

    Comment from the website lol.

  6. I’m glad Japan is finally changing and allowing much more immigration. Honestly when I visit I dont like how the trains are so quiet, we need more culture there. We successfully got way more mcdonalds there and introduced them to western culture too. Hopefully this continues and we destroy all that comformity rules.

  7. I’m surprised a lot of chains haven’t done this sooner. Is body jewelry and colored nails still not in the picture yet?

  8. so was brown lightened hair previously acceptable? how about blonde or red?

was it natural as in “it exists naturally in humans” or natural as in “your genetic hair color”?

  9. Used to work part time there, atleast on the three stores I worked, hair colour didn’t matter the begin with.
