Hi guys.
I have a paid internship in Tokyo lined up from mid/end of October to April, so very soon. The organization that will be my employer took a very long time for the application process. Now we're running into some time problems. They suggested to apply for a WHV, even though this is obviously designed for people who want to travel and work on the side.
So how do I go about writing an itinerary and who do I put in as employer on the application form? If I answer these two truthfully, it will be completely obvious that I am just doing the internship I was already accepted for and won't do much travelling at all. If I don't, well, then it's fraud. Then again, does anyone check this? Could I get in trouble for it and is it done by many people?
And also – could I apply for a longer WHV than my internship? Because if I might want to travel even more, I could then. But if I wanted to go back after the 6 months, could I do that and no one would ask for a reason?
