  1. こんにちは!

    I’ve been working on a fun side project for language learners like myself and wanted to share it with the community to gather feedback and ideas. You can view it here [Memutary](https://www.memutary.com)

    The idea behind the app is to make language learning more enjoyable by using music lyrics as the foundation. If you’ve ever used apps like WaniKani or Anki, this app has some inspiration from those systems—using spaced repetition and gamification to help users learn vocabulary and grammar from their favourite songs.

    **How it works:**

    * You choose a song in your target language.
    * The app breaks down the lyrics into bite-sized learning sections, allowing you to study the vocabulary and pronunciation in a fun, interactive way.
    * The more you listen and learn, the more you progress!

    **What’s already in the app:**

    * A few songs (but I’m hoping to add more soon—recommendations are welcome!).
    * Spaced repetition features.
    * Translations and voiced pronunciation (could be improved)

    **What I’m looking for:**

    * **Feedback**: What would you want to see in an app like this? Any features that would make the learning experience smoother or more engaging?
    * **Song recommendations**: Have any favourite songs in the language you’re learning that you’d love to study?
    * **General thoughts**: Even if you’re not super into language learning, what would make you interested in using an app like this?

    Thanks in advance! 🙏 I’d love to hear what you think, and if anyone is interested in trying it out, let me know! 😊

    **Features:**

    * Simple and straightforward to play.
    * Take on various challenges with both **Kana** and **Kanji** characters, including memory mini-games and quizzes.
    * Each challenge offers various **difficulty levels** and settings.
    * Create **custom challenges** using your own set of characters (both Kana and Kanji).
    * Achieve different **ranks** by conquering each trial.
    * A unique look with **relaxing music and visuals**.

    **Upcoming Features:**

    * Full **Jōyō Kanji** list.
    * New challenges.
    * Localization for other languages.

    And many more features and quality fixes will be added based on feedback.

    **Wishing you all a great day!**

  3. A friend and I are working on a browser extension dictionary similar to Yomitan but with level-appropriate monolingual definitions for intermediate to advanced learners (around N3+). It’s also more flexible, accurate, and able to define more words than traditional dictionary. Basically, it makes the transition to monolingual dictionaries easier by ensuring you are always getting definitions that are as close as possible to an *i+1* comprehensible level.

    And because we’re not monsters, we designed it so you can easily import your definitions into Anki.

    We’re looking for 5 case studies to test this tool for free. In exchange, we’d just ask for your honest feedback after a week of use and, if you find it helpful, a review.

    If you or if you know someone would be interested, please send me a dm. I’d be happy to provide more details and set you up with a free trial.

    よろしくお願いいたします

  4. I frequently do N5 level study sessions via Renshuu on my twitch stream. I also do a fair amount of listening practice. The more the merrier:
