First time 2-week trip – is my travel itinerary reasonable?

r/Japantravel keeps deleting my post saying it's asking about airports or flights?

Will be there November 12-26. My current itinerary is:

12-14: Tokyo

14-16: Nikko

16-17: Tokyo (so round trip to Nikko)

17-18: Hakone

18-19: Takayama (this seems to be the one long trip)

19-22: Kyoto

22-23: Hiroshima

23-24: Osaka

24-26: Tokyo (could stay in Osaka longer, but will need to return to Tokyo on 26th)

Feels a bit weird splitting up Tokyo like that but there's reasons for it, one being trying to avoid Hakone on 16-17 as prices seem to be a lot higher that specific day. Looking up all the travel on google maps, it seems like JR pass is not featured a whole lot on this routes, is google maps not reliable for this information?

Anyways, is all this travel feasible? Would you suggest some alternative? I'm open to renting a car where appropriate too (was planning on having a car in Nikko)
