We got into a taxi at Nino Castle in Kyoto. My partner is noticeably sweaty due to the very hot weather. The taxi driver made a comment about how Kyoto has clean toilets and bathrooms right after asking us where we are from. Not sure if it was awkward conversation or a passive aggressive remark?
