Strengthening shampoo

I am desperately searching for a shampoo and/or conditioner that will strengthen my hair. The amount of breakage is insane, as in my hair strands will literally snap under the slightest pressure. I’ve lived in Japan for 8 years and never had this problem before.

Please help with some recommendations.

For reference, I have fine, wavy hair.
