Hi everyone,
My partner and I have just moved to Tokyo from Europe, currently we are staying in a short term serviced apartment in Toshima and we really like the area, it’s a 5-6 min walk from Shiinamachi station and has decent food options and stores nearby and the neighborhood is quiet.
However we would like to move somewhere more spacious for a longer period of time (1year would be ideal) as we were planning on staying at this accommodation for about a month.
What areas would you guys recommend looking out for that would be best for a 2LDK or if need be even a 1LDK, preferably 40+ sqm and that is not a long commute (max 30-40mins) to Ikebukuro and Shinjuku stations? Some nice food spots nearby and convenience stores would be a big plus.
Ideally our budget would be ¥160k, however not limited to it.
