End of November Honeymoon Itinerary

I’m getting married this weekend, and after so much hesitation we’re headed to Japan in November one way or another (we’ve got our ERFS even if the proposed changes don’t happen.)

We’ve split our trip in two halves. First half is Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka, second is Hokkaido (we have a flight from KIX to CTS). Any tweaks or recommendations appreciated:

Day 1 (evening): Land at Haneda. Check in to hotel near Tokyo Station.

Day 2: Explore Akhibara, maybe Shinjuku (nothing specific planned yet)

Day 3: Check out early-ish, head to Kyoto by shinkansen. Next hotel is also right by Kyoto Station. Explore a bit, have a nice dinner somewhere.

Day 4: Check out from Kyoto, head to a Ryokan in the north part of Osaka.
(We were recommended this particular Ryokan by our friends as a “try it for a night” experience.)

Day 5: Check out from Ryokan, head down to a hotel next to Universal.
Visiting friends in Osaka.

Day 6: Universal in the morning (Super Mario Land is really what we’re excited about).
If we have time, head out to Nara. If not, we’ll focus on something closer or just spend the whole day at Universal.

Day 7: Flight from KIX to CTS. Check in to a hotel in downtown Sapporo.

Day 8: Explore Sapporo (mostly my partner wants to see the brewery/museum.)

Day 9: Check out from Sapporo, train to Noboribetsu.

Day 10: Hike around Noboribetsu.

Day 11: Leave Noboribetsu, train to Hakodate.

Day 12: Hike around Mt. Hakodate, ???

Day 13: Train back to Tokyo.

Day 14: Flight home.

I know we’re moving around a fair bit, but I think the proximity of the Kyoto/Osaka hotels should make it less taxing. Let me know what you all think?
