So this is a question that started out as an idea for a TEW tournament, but it got me thinking about the real-life relationship and link between New Japan and Japanese wrestling in general and Mexican promotions.
I know a lot of Japanese wrestlers spend time on excursion over in Mexico, and I believe that’s where Los Ingobernables started, but that’s about the limits of my knowledge. Are there key figures in the wrestling relationship between the two countries and styles? Was there a key starting point of it all? Educate me, Reddit. Appreciate you!
