Recently moved to Kodaira, about 15min walk from the Seibu-Shinjuku line which takes about 30mins to get to Kobuchiko. Overall, I get what I pay for, my wife loves it and I'm kinda meh, I'm sure you know what that means living out in western Tokyo.
Regardless the walking, the waiting it takes me about an hour to get to anywhere with a city vibe which isn't terrible, but if I wanna go out drinking and late-night eating I have to be on the last train home, cos a taxi costs 8-10k.
So my question would be where is the nearest place to Kodaira I can go that has a kind of a city vibe (Night-Life, Decent Gym, Big Selections of restaurants, International Supermarkets and a lot of people moving around.
Or there isn't any and I just have to keep making the commute? (Which is fine, like I said I got what I paid for)
