  1. Sorry for your loss. I first started eating sushi with my Dad 30 years ago, and I have been making him sushi for over 10 years now. Sushi has always been a father-son tradition for me. This post definitely hit me in the feels.

Cheers to you and your father and the wonderful memories you shared together ❤

  2. My pops passed recently and while he didn’t eat sushi, he was a huge salmon fan. And a fan of good mountain views.

We also bonded a lot over food and special meals together.

Condolences to you and those who were close to him. Great way to honor our dad’s by doing things we enjoyed doing with them.

  3. I am sorry for your loss. I too started my sushi history with my dad when I was a wee hatchling.

So I understand the connection well

  4. Sorry for your loss! It’s hard to find others who like lemon sliced thin on top of their sushi, it’s one of my favorites

  5. What a beautiful tribute. So sorry for your loss.

Sushi looks delicious! He would’ve loved it 🙂

  6. My dad and I love eating sake nigiri together too <3. Also, was this picture taken in Colorado by chance?
