Me and my girlfriend are planning to do the Shimanami Kaido cycle route over 2 days this month. On day one, we'll start in Onomichi and end at Ikuchi Island. The next day, we plan to bike to Imabari and fly back to Tokyo from Matsuyama Airport.
I found out that our hotel offers a luggage forwarding service called Cycling Without Baggage, but I'm unsure about how quickly they can deliver our bags before our 7 PM flight to Tokyo. There aren't many late flights from Matsuyama Airport. Does anyone know how long this service typically takes? Is this plan feasible?
I've heard that Sagawa Express and Yamato Transport are popular options, but I'm not sure how to make this work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
