I have a Bachelor in Laws, a graduate degree (JD) and am a member of the Ontario Bar. Not sure if I’m seeing my future here, and after spending some time in Japan, studied it and learned about it from my dad who worked there, I think I might move…
The thing is, while I obviously won’t be able to do actual lawyering in Japan, would a law degree help me at all in landing a job—be it finance, compliance, banking stuff, or any corporate position really? Or am I just kinda screwed as a non-finance, non-STEM major? 🙁
(I speak N3 Japanese, soon to be N2, along with Turkish, French and some Spanish)
