Experienced American Teacher looking for a job/career options in Japan

I am aware of the temporary “teach English in foreign country like Japan programs.” This is not what I’m looking for.

Looking for a job/career to live in Japan.

•5 years teaching experience in USA (high school English Language Arts teacher)
•Am not fluent in Japanese, but learning

What options exist? Looking for advice.

Additionally, if anyone has experience/information regarding Japan’s health care—specifically for people with rheumatoid arthritis, that would be very helpful!
