Looking for automotive DIY engineers who like cars/bikes

Dear Tokyo residents,

I just moved to Tokyo last week, and I want to join the local automotive scene in particular DIY, making parts tuning your vehicle.

I brought a 3d scanner with me and some beefy laptops for CAD (fusion360, solidworks, autodesk inventor, blender, nomad). Sadly no 3d printers and laser cutters (yet), but if you are a DIY maker who is also a automotive enthiaust please reach out.

I am by no means a professional in this, it's just a hobby to make car parts from time to time.

It would be a great way to meet like minded people and find new engineering challenges.

Last thing I made was a carbon shift knob for my honda fit back home.

P.S. If any of you have tips where to live in Tokyo where you can have more space to put 3d printers, work with carbon and not anger people please let me know!

I don't want to be a nuisance to the local people and yes I do speak basic conversational japanese.
