Help. My air conditioner is leaking. I live in leopalace. Do you know how to fix it or who to call? How much does it cost. I just move here so I’m so confused on why this is happened.
This is really common in humid environments. You probably have a slime mold build up in the drain line causing water to overflow the drip pan. Slime mold is not toxic so don’t get caught up on that. If Leopalace doesn’t come out quickly to fix it you can usually just take off the tube from the back and blow air up it. It’ll displace the mold and your tubes will drain.
Step 1: look at the papers you got with your rental agreement
Step 2: look at the section where it says what to do if repairs are needed
Step 3: do what it says
Is it part of the rental? Look at the contract if AC is listed then it’s their responsibility. If not then your responsibility but it also means you can throw it away. But confirm with them to be sure.
