Omakase in Atlanta.. rating Omakase Table a well deserved 10/10

Disclaimer: I’ve been to many omakase in the past, primarily in New York, LA and even Tokyo. Today I had the chance to go with my wife to Omakase Table in Atlanta. It was quite an experience. Chef Leonard Yu has a personalized menu with ingredients sourced from all over the world by his team. Some of the best sushi I’ve had a while. The otoro might have been my favorite, along the shima aji… madai.. so umami so.. flavorful. Check out some of the photos and menu below.

Parking: 10/10
Ambience: 10/10
Staff: 10/10
Menu: 10/10
Price: 8.5/10 ($240 pp but to be expected)
Portion: (lol come on)
it is 20 courses and gets you decently full but come with realistic expectations. It is an experience more than anything.

The only thing stopping this from being a full 10 is the price which is unfair to take away from an omakase. So in my mind – this still deserves a 10.

  1. I was initially so excited for this place until I saw the price. Same with Mujo. The omakase experiences in Atlanta have all priced me out, maybe with the exception of Norifish. I’m glad you enjoyed it so much. Pictures look great.

  2. I’m from the SF bay area and I have about 20 years experience starting in the 90s getting top notch omakase (or as we said in my day, you choose, I’ll let you know when I’m full) for about $25 per person. So I just can’t wrap my head around the prices these days.

I’m 49 so I guess it’s part of getting old, haha.

  3. Imma keep it real this looks kinda disgusting.

Glad you enjoyed it. I just feel like the pictures didn’t do them justice

Omakase

One of my favorite omakase in the Seattle area. So many courses that I couldn’t add 3 more…
