I came across a young stray cat who looks in rough shape and clearly has eye problems – both of its eyes seem gunked up and closed. I've been in contact with a trap-neuter-release program that could help me catch and neuter it, and unfortunately I can't have cats where I live, but if I can afford to I'd like to try getting the eye infection looked at. Roughly how much could I expect to pay for this (vet check-up and antibiotics, I guess? Plus maybe flea treatment?)
