Hi! So I'm currently in Japan (first time) and just bought a couple (a keychain and a small plushie) stuff in a tax free shop (Yobodashi). They placed both items in a closed plastic bag but didn't ask for my passport or anything, I just have the normal receipt.
I'm quite confused on how the whole tax free process works, does this mean I can't add the keychain to my bag to decorate or something and by so, "consume/use it" in Japan?
Will I need to separate these two items when I go back?
I appreciate any clarification and help!
