Family trip to Tokyo – area suggestions for airbnb home

Hi, looking for a nice area outside of Tokyo where we can rent a home for a week, have a car, and enjoy nature/countryside, kids are young 3 and 6. Will do Tokyo for a day. Travelling in early Dec. Please suggest some good areas to get an airbnb etc.
