We're officially in August and from the start of the year to now it feels like Shota has regressed hard from any sort of development he had at the end of last year.
From January he has been feuding with H.O.T to now where he's still feuding with H.O.T. He declared himself the "Ace" in January and he hasn't looked like a potential ace since.
Right now he has a injury and during the G1 he showed spurts in certain matches. But it felt like something was missing.
Obviously it was mostly because of his injury and his booking. And probably a lack of motivation for him. The more he tries doing the white meat baby face the more it feels forced. His Identity Crisis is apart of his character development but it would need to come sooner rather than later.
