Declaring items bought in Japan to customs to facilitate re-entry

Hello,

To give you guys a little context, I’m from the EU and I’m currently living in Japan.

In the EU usually when people travel outside of it they declare the most valuable items they will travel with, that way when they re-enter customs is not a problem.
A lot of immigrants apply this same strategy when returning to visit family in the EU.

Soon I’ll go back home with some stuff that I was given and bought here and that I no longer have receipts for. So I wanted to declare some items to the Japanese customs in order to show my country customs that those items will comeback with me to Japan. And to avoid problems with the Japanese customs when re-entering.

I’m going back home for a family emergency and I haven’t bought a plane ticket back, not sure if I’ll stay 3 weeks or 6 yet.

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question but I wasn’t able to find a proper answer, which right now leads me to believe it is not possible. Maybe you guys have been through this.
