I am planning a trip for me and a friend in December, it is both of our first times in Japan. The trip is planned out to be 10 days, but might get stretched to 11 for various reasons. Planning around the 10 for the moment. Currently, my Itinerary looks like:
4 Days in Tokyo
1 Day In Shibu Onsen
1 Day in Osaka
4 Days in Kyoto (w/ 1 day as a Nara / Uji Day Trip)
The purpose of this post is to ask if it is worth to spend a "full" (minus travel time ofc) day and night in Osaka? It seems like a neat place, but with "only" these 10 days in Japan, would that day be better dedicated somewhere else, like an extra day in Kyoto or Tokyo, or to another day / 2 day trip somewhere else. We are pretty set on the night in Shibu Onsen, but not so much sold on Osaka.
