  1. New national holiday! Everyone take the day off, binge Strongs and watch baseball while ignoring your spouse and children!!

  2. Man, did he EVER do it. 6 hits, 10 RBI and 3 home runs in one game In which he joined the 49-49 club, the 50-50 club and the 51-51 club.

Even without passing 50-50 that would be one of the most impressive games fora batter ever.

  3. Awesome! Last year there were rule changes: the bases got bigger and pickoff throws to first base became limited, in an effort to increase stolen bases. The dumbest rule change: pitchers now are allowed to step off the rubber just twice during a plate appearance. There were no limits before. Obviously, base-runners know exactly how many times a pitcher can make a move during a given batter-pitcher encounter, so there’s more aggressive lead-offs, and once two pickoff moves are exhausted, nothing is really stopping a runner from stealing. I feel bad for Ohtani, because the constant news coverage turns people to haters. He’s the Taylor Swift of sports.

  4. So thankful we’re all able to experience history together as Dodgers, baseball, Sport, fans.
