2 and a half days in Kyoto, Is this tour worth it?

I was thinking of doing this on Day 2 but is it worth it? Or should I do it on my own spread out across the days?

Day 1 I arrive from tokyo and have a tea ceremony and dinner planned. Day 3( Half day) I wanted to check out the market and then head to Osaka.
