Japanese regulations on child support and custody

Hello

I just found out I'm pregnant and am thinking about what to do. Generally I want the baby and my boyfriend wants to marry now. So far so good. But I'm absolutely clueless about the Japanese legal system and I'm worried, what if worst case scenario we divorce down the line, will happen in terms of custody and child support? Does anyone here have experience with the Japanese law and how the Japanese courts tend to rule? Can they take my kid away because I'm not Japanese? Will it be difficult to enforce the child support? How much is it usually? And is it maybe worth it to bring up a prenup so I'd feel more safe about this?

Why I want to understand this by myself and am not just asking my boyfriend is, it seems he wants the baby very much so he'd likely say anything. Also divorce is the last thing on his mind and I don't want to spook him. He's been nothing but good to me, I'm just having anxiety raised by my foreign friends.

I'll be thankful for any tips!
