Hi all,
I am looking at home insurance costs and am unfamiliar with what is normal in Japan. Current quote I've received from a company that was recommended is as below;
The insurance quote was given based on 50million yen. The property insurance covers damages caused by;
- Fire, Lightning, Explosion,Â
- Disasters caused by Wind, Hail, Snow,
- Water disasters.
- Theft, Water damagesÂ
- Breakages, Defacements
The Building Insurance amount is up to 50million yen, Insurance amount for the furniture and fixture is up to 2 million yen.
The insurance premium to pay is 390,130yen per year.
Would you say this quote is reasonable? I also want to ask about earthquake damages but it's in Nagano so perhaps not that earthquake prone? Anything else I'm missing?
