I am worried that I might not get my salary this coming payday just because I just updated my residence card to JP post bank recently and in the website says it will take 1-2 weeks to reflect. Is there anyone with the same experience? Can I withdraw with passbook if my residence card is still in process updating?
Edit: I know you can do it via counter however my work hours will not allow me to go there.

If it’s deposited, it should still be deposited. You can surely withdraw from the counter if the ATM is no good.
You will still receive the deposit. I just renewed and did the same recently. Still received the money. The problem is I’m still waiting for the bank to update my card on the system. It’s sooooo slow. I tried twice before and still didn’t receive any notice that the card updated successfully. Might have to call them or they will restrict my card
I didn’t know this about JP post. Most of my banks doesn’t actually cut you off at the exact date of residence expiration and gives leeway period of several months. Did you actually notify them late?
I updated my card online and was able to receive my salary and withdraw money from Jp post atms including those ones in fami mart.
I just wasn’t able to use the jp post app to move money to other accounts.
If your account is frozen automatic deposit and withdrawal should work
You still get your deposit they just won’t allow you to withdraw money. That being said you have like 6 months before they freeze your account. I know because I didn’t update it until they froze it 6 months later. I update it on time now.
